I conduct Home Studies for Adoptions in Arkansas. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) I am licensed for independent practice and am legally qualified to conduct them. My work is with people who live in Arkansas who may be adopting here or from other states.
I have been conducting home studies for over 25 years. Working with people in the adoption process is one of the most meaningful and rewarding kinds of work I do.
The home study is an assessment of a family's ability to safely, effectively and lovingly raise a child in a healthy environment. Most families who seek to adopt a child are ready, willing, and able to adopt and raise a child. The study will involve interviews and collection of information from background checks, employment/income verification. letters of reference and medical reports.
